Amy Weber

I am a native West Virginia girl, born and raised in Berkeley Springs. I graduated from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV with an AA in Fashion Merchandising. I am a lifetime resident of Morgan County. I am raising my beautiful teenage daughter with some assistance from my mother- who also resides with us. My family enjoys fishing, camping, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. My office is pet friendly, so stop by and meet Piper, an English Bulldog or Cleo, a blue heeler and husky mix, as they are the official office mascots at Amy Weber State Farm in Capon Bridge.

I recently made a career change into the insurance industry after more than two decades as a District Manager for a global retail chain overseeing Virginia, Maryland, and the Washington DC Metro area. When my husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack in 2020, I left my retail career and the intense travel schedule to spend time and heal with my daughter. After pursuing interests as an event coordinator and freelance interior design projects, I was approached by a State Farm recruiter who opened my eyes to the opportunity available in the insurance industry.

My husband did not have life insurance protection. I became a State Farm agent because I realized that my story could help inspire others to understand the importance of preparing for life’s unexpected ups and downs. My goal is to educate my friends, family, and customers so that no one should experience the challenges I have had to overcome as a widow and single parent. I am passionate about supporting the local Hampshire County community, particularly our youth, our farmers, and our veterans.
